Resumo: |
The research with theater of Oppressed was carried out with the group of Mulheres Renascer from the House the Culture, located in the community of Góes Artigas in Inácio Martins-PR, a small and at the same time great social movement created by these women, since it deals with He is part of a group that started with small meetings and today is an association with a public utility title. The present research sought to discuss about education and art, about Pedagogy and the Theater of the Oppressed and Oppressed with the objective of living an engaged pedagogy within an artistic, theatrical context that sought to bring to light the oppression experienced by women. This is action research, as it goes into the field to make discoveries through experiences. The desire to carry out this research was born when, as an Art Educator, I got to know the Theater of the Oppressed created by Augusto Boal. As an educator, I also got to know Paulo Freire Pedagogy of the Oppressed and soon realized the points that connect these theories in order to give voice to the oppressed. Later on realizing herself as a woman in an oppressive society, in the midst of research and reading I found the author Bárbara Santos, teacher, artist, activist, feminist who worked for a long time with Augusto Boal and creator of Theater of Oppressed. Working Art and Education as bridges of dialogue for the awareness and consequently liberation of the oppressed is a motivation for someone who is part of this environment and what certainly designated this research. The field research had nine meetings in which we carried out interpretation exercises to work on body expression, and several exercises suggested by Bárbara Santos to search for inherited images in our body that are unconsciously reproduced, perpetuating oppression. And in the sequence, reinforced images, incorporated images, reflected images, questioned images and images to be constructed. Each bodily experience was followed by discussions and reports that were respected, being constructed as the group progressed, never following a ready-made recipe. The reports show how much we women still have in us, beliefs that we follow that we don't know exactly why, like rules of behavior, how to dress, how to speak. The discussions were, many times, in a tone of relief, but also of revolt. In the end, we created a play entitled “MARIÁH”, which shows a little of all the difficulties we report as women, but which does not have an end, and yes, as a feature of Theater newspaper and Theater Forum, it only shows a fact that is solved from the reflection of each spectator. The lived experience can bring them many reflections on art and education, art as a powerful tool for transforming society through an education that makes sense within each reality, as it was in the case of women. Other realities, other conflicts can be worked on by bringing and experiencing the theories of Augusto Boal and Paulo Freire that do not aim to teach, but to discover, to discover together in community for a common good. |
