Resumo: |
This thesis approaches education as a capitalist tool, which assumes a role as the main component for the evolution of the world economic development process, helping in the qualification and orientation of the subjects for the productive system. In this study, we use the MERCOSUR Educational Sector – MES - guidelines, analyzing its Action Plans, which are the basis for public education policies in its member countries. The study method applied is a bibliographic and documentary research, based on primary sources and especially on legal documents presented by MERCOSUR and MERCOSUR Educational meetings and conferences. Regarding secondary sources, this study was based on bibliographic references on the MERCOSUR Educational topic, in addition to authors who focus on education and work. This study aims to analyze the seven Action Plans proposed by the MERCOSUR Educational Sector to distinguish the capitalist educational practices that give rise to public education policies in MERCOSUR. For this, we divided the study into two moments: a descriptive and an analytical one. In the descriptive, we discussed a historical overview regarding the globalization of education and a general analysis of the Educational MERCOSUR activities, including its objectives, organizational structure, and action strategies. In the analytical moment, we propose to reflect on the activities present in the plans, focusing on educational involvement and the capitalist production modes. In the research results, we observed the expressive and visible presence of the category of work engaged in the educational process. In all documents, we observed a concern with training for the integration process linked to the capitalist means of production. So, we can say that the document has as a basis for its actions the guidelines arising from a globalized education that emphasizes the formation of human capital as a world economic solution. In this way, we concluded that MERCOSUR education is responsible for adapting the population to the directions for integration on which they are based, to training to meet global and regional economic aspirations. In summary, to build a flexible MERCOSUR educational system capable of qualifying the subject for the demands of the market based on the formation of human capital, ignoring the process of humanistic formation. |
