The Subject addressed in this research is the creative processes through contemporary dance for High-Ability students in Basic Education. The research question launched was how to propose and develop creative processes through contemporary dance for High-Ability students in Basic Education? Developing the practice, the objective is to problematize the potential of contemporary dance in the development of creative processes of High-Ability students. The specific objectives outlined in this investigation are: to expand the repertoire of creative movements with artistic intentionality of students High-Ability; provide sensitization and body perception to High-Ability students; provoke greater self- knowledge among High-Ability students; propose and develop creative processes in contemporary dance for High-Ability students. The type of research adopted is qualitative with an exploratory approach. The methodology is observational and participant in an intervention situation. The research was carried out at a State College in the city center of Guarapuava, Paraná, with a multifunctional resource room. The research participants were approximately eighteen students, of both genders and diagnosed with High-Ability and also the teacher of the multifunctional resource room. It is concluded, from this study, that the practice of contemporary dance expands the body and cultural repertoire and develops the creative processes of High-Ability students through contemporary art. The results point to the need to continue the study of contemporary dance with students with High-Ability, which can instigate new theoretical and empirical research related to the theme. And it suggests the creation of support and incentive programs to develop the ability of High-Ability students in resource rooms. |
