Resumo: |
The notifications of sexual violence against children and adolescents in Brazil during the pandemic do not seem to express the reality found in daily life in society. The underreporting of this crime is a sad evidence, and, in pandemic times, related to the closing of public facilities or a decrease in service hours. In most cases, violence is perpetrated within the home, by family members or by people very close to them. The guarantee of the rights of this population in a special condition of development, violated by those who should guarantee it, is a sad reality that must be modified, and, for this, the academy, the Protection Network, the family and the society must collaborate. |
