• Resumo em Inglês: Human rights consist in an ethical conduct inherent in man's cultural formation processes. They, as rights, preceding their assertiveness because they emerge from the human existence itself as an inalienable and guaranteed condition. Understand and promote this subject are challenges conferred on Education for Human Rights, for it is through this that provides the knowledge of such rights. This research aims to investigate the perception of students of Languages and Pedagogy courses about education in human rights in their curriculum. The University is one of the locus of dissemination of information and training in this field of activity, a place that made the realization of this research possible. The student body of Portuguese-Language and Pedagogy courses, and their curriculum, integrate this work as participant educational performers as well as public policies on human rights focused on higher education. As for the methodology, the research had a qualitative approach exploratory using as a research strategy the multiple case study as lifting and data analysis technique: focus groups, document and processing of data content analysis. The research results evidenced a limited perception by students as the Education universe and human rights in the research university, which confirms the absence of evident propositions in the analysis of your documents. However, even with no clear predictions from the Pedagogical Projects of the courses on the promotion of Human Rights Education, which are confirmed by the perceptions of students, the institution presents a favorable trend for the implementation of public policies for this purpose, it develops actions, has resources and proposes disciplines that can enable an Education and Human Rights at the University searched.
