Resumo: In contemporary society, we are facing an explosion of technological innovations enhanced by digital networks for the dissemination and sharing of data provided by the internet. This was what happened in 2015 with the funk kid artists, especially with the artist called MC Melody. Observing among these artists a remarkable process of search for visibility and consequent projection of the self, led to one of the questions of this research, that is, discuss the presence of sexuality in the MC Melody’s work and the use of the internet to self spectacularize in search of recognition in the fame market. To this end, the research uses some of the discussions arising from Cultural Studies and Gender Studies, as some of these studies consider that our identities are constituted continuously, within certain cultures, by constant power disputes. It was found, through the analysis of lyrics, images and statements in reports and on social networks, that in the artist's work, different self-disclosure strategies were used to explore the diffusing power of the internet and keep in evidence. In 2015, in an exhibition of images that sometimes denote eroticization and adultization, the girl reached enormous projection with some praise, but with numerous criticisms she received from Internet users and, consequently, with protective action by the Public Ministry. With the principle of "Speak bad, but speak of me" intoned, in one of her songs, the singer has been performing with images that oscillate between girl-child and girl-woman - in a kind of blur between childhood and adulthood. It is concluded that, in this performance field of fluid identities, education can play an important role: that of opening a listening channel for children so that there is an active reflection on the role that the media and its different texts play in the process of constitution of identities, in the understanding about sexuality and the place that children occupy in society.
