“Ousamos prescrever uma dieta de prazeres” : AIDS e a livre expressão sexual no jornal do Nuances

This research studied, through the communication of the Jornal do nuances (1998 - 2016), sexual liberties in the context of Aids. The general objective of the research is to analyze the AIDS publications in the aforementioned periodical to reflect on the process of stigmatization (PARKER and AGGLETON, 2001) of the sexual liberties triggered by the disease in clipping. We studied 43 issues of the newspaper and found 13 stories that presented AIDS as their main debate. The corpus was constituted by five reports and, after a Content Analysis, we were guided by the analyzing elements chosen from the metaphors pointed out by the basic authors of our research. As a main result, we notice that the Jornal do nuances proposes to be a propagator of sexual liberties and, in this way, appears as an agent of confrontation mainly of the epidemic of signification. In addition, this dissertation presents questions about sexual liberties, communication, public policies and health.
