Resumo: |
This master´s thesis, carried out in the area of Creative Writing, is divided into two segments: the first consists of a hybrid fictional text in dialogue with other arts; and the second is constituted by a theoretical-reflective essay about the process of creation of the literary text. The work of fiction portrays three generations of women (grandmother, mother and granddaughter) in a web of relationships and affections that evoke echoes and traces of permanence and metamorphoses around gender roles and the condition of women in Brazilian society. The action is arranged in two temporal intervals and is expressed in distinct stylistic units: a short novel, a set of poems, a theater monologue and two videos. The granddaughter who sews the three stories, acts as an active subject in the reconstruction and survival of the memory of her ancestors, reworking them through art. The theoretical-reflective essay is a fictional conversation between the author and the ghost of her father, in which questions about the creation process around the characters and the different languages and genres that dialogue in the work are addressed. |
