Essa graça que é olhar atrás is a short novel that accompanies three crucial moments in life of Magda, its main character. In this work, besides reading the fictional text, we can follow the record of the Writing path: an essay that shows where and how the creative process of characters and plot grew up. There are thoughts on some of the author's dilemmas, commentaries on the fictional and theoretical works that influenced the production, and, at last, the research that subsidized the management of specific knowledge in the storytelling, especially on psychiatric pathologies and their treatments, some important elements of the novel.
