Resumo: |
The aim of this research is to develop a proposal for a Learning Object (LO) as a resource in Portuguese language classes in the final years of Elementary School to raise students' awareness of phonetic-phonological variation, specifically the one that involves monophthongization processes. (ex. peixe~pexe) and diphthongization (dez~dejs). To this end, it started with the theoretical assumptions of Variationist Sociolinguistics (LABOV, 1972), through the survey of studies that elucidated the conditioners involving diphthongization (LEIRIA, 1995; SILVA, 2014; SILVA and MOTA, 2018) and monophthongization (CABREIRA, 1996 ; AMARAL, 2005; TOLEDO, 2011; SILVEIRA, 2019), of Educational Sociolinguistics (BORTONI-RICARDO, 2004:2005; BAGNO, 2012; FARACO, 2008; ZILLES and FARACO, 2015), associated with the application of Active Methodologies (REIS, 2017). Based on the Methodology for Building Interactive Learning Objects (MCOAI), by Kemczinski et al (2012), six meetings were held via Google Meet for the elaboration of the LO involving a team formed by two Portuguese teachers and a professional in the Technology area, mediated by the researcher. Among the steps foreseen in the MCOAI, there were Analysis, Design, Review and the partial Implementation, resulting in an interactive LO project, called Ditongaê, in which the teacher can count on resources such as polls, recording and audio reproduction for the approach of the variation involving decreasing diphthongs on the sound plane. |
