Os carrapichos no universo ficcional de Lobato : do projeto de nação ideal às adaptações dos anos 2000

Resumo: The child fictional universe created by Monteiro Lobato in the first half of the twentieth century remains in the national imagination only to some extent. There is, in the works that comprise a project ideal nation ruled by developmentalism modeled Americans. This project, although anticipate globalizing tendencies, is dismantled by successive adaptations for television series and, more recently, for animation and for the website Mundo do Sítio. We understand, in the course of the analysis of adaptations of works-source, the progressive distancing not only the specifics of the plot and the characterizations of the characters, but also the representations allusive and specific to the time and place of enunciation of these works and the project of nation ideal, erasing identity features in support of the effort to update the plots. The tendency of contemporary adaptations is to use the credibility and status of Monteiro Lobato and his creations, extracting what is useful for their purposes audience and profit.Paradoxically, the contents that "encarrapichamento" viewers and users of the site relate not only to the evocation of the past and rural values and identity formations him pegged as also the reputation and credibility of Monteiro Lobato. These elements extracted from fiction lobatiana, however, are not used in its essence, but also formatted the imperatives of media productions, aligning the adaptations of the fictional universe lobatiano international productions for children and the public taste - also formatted. Very little remains therefore Lobato works for the most recent adaptations plus some traits exacerbated the characters and adventures of some decontextualized to internationalize the site. The interaction of products consolidated by globalized media and resistant to the elements of fiction lobatiana results, in the symbolic field, the redefinition of relations of dependence and maintaining the status quo
