Resumo: |
The present study aims to expand the critical fortune of the work of Ariano Suassuna (1927-2014) by discussing his artistic and literary production, especially his meticulous work with language in Romance de Dom Pantero no Palco dos Pecadores. We seek to analyze the artistic project in this novel, correlating it with the concept of Ilumiara and the implications of this concept for the Suassunian work, as well as to apprehend the process of writing the novel from the hybridism of genres that constitutes it. Our interest in the Romance de Dom Pantero is justified by being a posthumous text, published just over five years ago, the result of more than thirty years of writing by the author, who aims to synthesize his work, his philosophical thought, and his vision of Brazilian culture. The study problem involves the construction of the novel from a complex system of artistic and cultural languages and the process of transformation of the narrative in Ilumiara. The hypotheses that guided this work were: Romance de Dom Pantero structures the Suassunian "Ilumiara" by proposing generative enunciations of writing; the hybridism of artistic genres, founded on the novel, results from the desecration of language. The theoretical apparatus involved Deleuze & Guatarri, Mircea Eliade, Joseph Campbell, Giorgio Agamben, Paul Zumthor, and more. The structuring of the study is divided into three chapters: the first addresses the concept of Ilumiara coined by Ariano Suassuna and analyzes the relationship of Ilumiara as a rhizomatic process; the second chapter analyzes the relationship of Ilumiara with the original and founding human dimensions, present in the rock inscriptions of Pedra do Ingá and its insertion in the work, the temporal dimension, and the Romance de Dom Pantero, as well as the mythical and mystical dimensions of the work. We noticed that the Romance de Dom Pantero it is structured as Iluminara through a rhizomatic process of narrative construction, breaking through the barriers of genres, making them hybrids. The hybridization of genres is also made possible by the desecration of language and the creation of a performative, moving, dialectical and non-hierarchical discourse |
