Resumo: The proliferation of collaborative environments for learning and the spaces called Makerspaces, Fablabs and Hackerspaces, as well as the popularization of digital manufacturing around the world, comes every day demonstrating the progression and strength of the maker movement that no longer refers to trend or fad, but as a revolution to traditional ways of learning and producing. In this context, we see the appropriation of the maker's movement also in the field of education as a proposal for the use of digital technologies in actions that make possible the idealization and implementation of projects, the fabrication of objects, creativity and, mainly, sharing and "hand-in-the-mass" collaboration. This research tries to identify some theories and practices that involve the actions and activities based on the active and similar methodologies in non-formal educational contexts, the investigation of the methods of collaboration added to the environments and the architecture formatted for these places conducive to learning. The theoretical foundation will be portrayed in the historical-cultural perspective of Lev S. Vygotsky and in the semiotics of Charles S. Peirce, by the vision of Angel Pino with his problematizations and reflections on the acquisition of knowledge and in the processes that involve these conditions. As a current scenario, presents Seymour Papert, read Constructionism, one of the greatest visionaries in education when pointing out the need for change in the form of learning as it translates into its creation Logo, programming language focused on education in which the child controls the tool rather than being dominated by it. In the case study, WikiLab is considered a collaborative house, an experiment maker, located on the campus of UFABC, in São Bernardo do Campo, SP, open to society and housing LabLivre and the hacker / maker community of ABC, with the aim of promoting research and developing technologies. The project is innovative, from conception to assembly because it was done digitally, in a participative and open source way, using maker technologies. In short, it is an exploratory qualitative research, without the ambition to reach conclusive results, but with the pretension of contributing to new knowledge about the proposed theme
