This text aims to analyze how the periodical Revista de Pedagogia, which was published by the professors of the former Discipline of General and Special Didactics of the Philosophy, Sciences and Letters College of Universidade de São Paulo, perceive and propose the secondary teacher educational development between the years of 1955 and 1967. We intend to investigate what is the curricular proposal on the secondary teacher educational development through Revista de Pedagogia and more specifically what are the necessary practices and knowledge for being a good secondary teacher and to understand the traditional education and modern education concept nowadays. Therefore, this research has, as main source, the educational periodical articles themselves, on which we make a speech analyzes tanking into consideration the Magazine content production agents position, who these people produce the content for, and what is (are) the place(s) occupied by these knowledge production subjects, and that, later, had their articles published on this educational periodical
