Resumo: |
This thesis aims to show the strength of the Ukrainian women in the arts and traditions, in particular the city of Prudentópolis in the state of Paraná, extending discussions on the identity to interpret the meanings of a whole to the statement, resistance and identification of its population. Thus, we deal with two perspectives, one that seeks to historically demonstrate the headquarters and the development of art and culture of the city of Prudentópolis and region through socioeconomic situation in which they lived the Ukrainians that region, as well as the context in which it constituted its art and culture. This path is placed face to face with the historical precedents of both the Ukrainian population and the population that arrived as immigrants to Parana. The other perspective follows the anthropological approach to doing ethnography of Ukrainian arts themselves, for an understanding and interpretation of your senses and meanings, for an analysis of possible recreations and reinventions developed by Prudentópolis society and region dominated by Ukrainian immigration. Associated with this approach, it investigated the relationship between these arts and local identity. In the wide world of Ukrainian art Prudentópolis and region, we have chosen for our investigation three: Dancing, Embroidery and Icon. The decision to treat these arts was justified by self-interest and its breadth in social relations in the city, because they, in particular, constitute a unique phenomenon that enables viewers perceived or latent aspects of the culture of the city's population |
