The focus of the research was the investigation of male and female teachers feelings concerning teenagers students indiscipline in the classroom. The gender perspective formed the main subcategory of the problem to be researched. The presented objectives were identify these teachers feelings, investigate the influence of the social identities of gender in the showed feelings as well the instructors expectations related to the indiscipline behavior in the classroom. It was interesting to know how the different ways of teachers interventions were realized and felt concerning the dialectic indiscipline/ discipline. The principal category in the data discussion was the teachers feelings concerning the indiscipline in the classroom. This category had two subcategories, the feelings concerning the male teenager students indiscipline and the female students. The data were analyzed according to Henry Wallon s theoretical reference. According to him, the person is formed relating to diverse environments and is structured by the integration of the affective, cognitive and motion functional powers. The reference has provided elements which guided the researcher s focus in the feelings investigation concerning the dialectic indiscipline/ discipline. Four teachers from municipal elementary schools participated in the research. Two of them, a man and a woman, have been teaching for around nine years, and the other two have had a more than twenty year experience. |
