Introduction: Drug use during pregnancy is a rapidly growing and worrying global problem, leading to increasing rates of maternal and neonatal mortality and diseases. Pregnant women who use drugs have less adherence to prenatal care, the onset of early prenatal care can prevent several risk factors associated with drug use. These users can benefit from the Care Line (LC), which is a way designed to express safe and user-friendly care flows. Objective: The objective of this research was to develop and implement an LC for pregnant drug users. Material and methods: This is an exploratory, descriptive, qualitative, prospective, participatory study. The participants were members of the Guardianship Council, the Psychosocial Care Center (CAPS), the Specialized Reference Center for Social Assistance (CREAS) and Community Health Agents (ACS) of the Family Health Strategy (ESF) Bairro Velho de Itararé -SP. LC was built collectively from two Round of Conversation. Results and discussion: In the first round of conversation were categorized the following topics: 1-The daily care of pregnant drug user; 2- Proposals for the follow-up of pregnant women; 3- Networking. The implementation of the proposed LC was agreed upon and the second Round of Conversation was held to evaluate the implementation and adjustments of the LC. In the second round of conversation, the following topics were categorized: 1-Difficulties related to assistance to pregnant women who use drugs. 2-What has already improved? How nice! What a pity! 4- Suggestions for improvements to the system. What about? The Care Line provided improvements in communication between institutions. There was a successful case in the follow-up of a pregnant drug user and the organization of the flow of the pregnant drug user of the ESF Bairro Velho, with a view to expanding to other locations in the municipality |
