Resumo: This paper aims at investigating the care practices of Consultório na Rua s professionals with the population living on the streets in the city of Campinas, State of São Paulo, in the analytical perspective of the vulnerability, according to contributions from Robert Castel, in the field of Sociology and José Ricardo Ayres, in the field of Public Health. To this end, I accompanied Consultório na Rua professionals during their activities, through participant observation and in everyday conversations. We used two cases that were studied during the research to show the care practices performed, the work processes and the relationship with the network, as well as the stresses resulting therefrom. We identified that the Consultório na Rua, under a harm reduction perspective, has been performing care practices in an itinerant manner and has included vulnerability factors in the proposed interventions. Such practices emphasize access to health care and the production of ties; the individualization of care, by taking into consideration the stories and vulnerability factors, and the articulation of networks. However, in this context, we noticed several situations of vulnerability also experienced by the staff, both in relation to users, and in stresses with the healthcare and intersectoral networks as well. We came to the conclusion that the Consultório na Rua is a potent health tool for the care of vulnerable populations, in that it works with extitutional characteristics, when the itinerancy of the teams puts them on the borders of the experiences of users, operating as a "bridge" service among vulnerable populations and health care services, forging networks that extend beyond the protocols
