Resumo: |
Due to the large number of people who, today, seek a psychotherapy office suffering from psychic ailments arising from acute and severe pathologies, this research sought to carry out an investigation that examines the defensive formation of the narcissistic self-cleavage concepts, in Ferenczi, and defense by split-off intellect, in Winnicott, specifically addressing their origins and modes of operation in order to investigate the relevance of a common lineage between both. These authors, each in their own way, promoted an expansion in the treatment devices for critically ill and borderline patients, as well as a migration in the axis of interest of psychoanalytic research. For that, a comparative and genealogical method was used, which sought to emphasize, in the referred concepts, the particularities of each clinical language, their differences, and reciprocal affinities |
