The subject of this master's dissertation is the study of the second language as a corporeal process of communication. The empirical corpus is the experience of teaching the Portuguese language to Japanese children who were transferred with their families to Brazil. The main objective is to test transdisciplinary procedures and bibliographies that are not usually part of the linguistic studies. Thus, the theoretical foundation was constituted by the alliance between corpusmedia theory (Katz and Greiner), the notion of perceptual chains diaspora and empathy proposed by Greiner to think about the transit between Japan and the West; the subversive narrative of the Japanese artist Hijikata Tatsumi, analyzed by the philosopher Uno Kuniichi; and the notion of self writing proposed by Michel Foucault. All of these authors have emphasized the relationship between body and environment in the constitution of the subjects, the contamination between cultures and the constitution of narratives from the recognition of the body as a complex sign system. What is common between these bibliographies - and which is particularly important for this research – it is the fact that the relationships between body, mind and environment are constituted through co-evolutionary processes that produce a network of perceptual, motor, emotional dispositions and learning. The expected result is to collaborate with the debate on the teaching of the second language based on epistemologies of communication and political philosophy that think of language as body language and way of affirming life |
