This work intended to contribute to ¬¬ Brazilian Psychology historiography, from the memory of psychology professionals that had initiated, in the decade of 1970, psychology activities in the municipal public services of Campinas SP. One searched to establish connections between Campinas and the country historical context and the beginning of psychology activities in the city. The research consisted of documentary sources survey, in the transcription and the interpretation of psychologists depositions whom in its majority are still entailed to the municipal public service. Verbal History procedures had been adopted and, in the interviews analysis they searched for stories historical perspective, from the image that each interviewed possess of its proper trajectory and the public service, to elaborate a version for the Psychology History in the municipal public service.
