Resumo: |
This dissertation focuses on the trauma theories developed by Sigmund Freud, their metapsychological constructions and the vicissitudes of each of them in the development of clinical strategies in psychoanalysis. Such strategies were extensively discussed by later psychoanalysts, among whom we highlight Sandór Ferenczi and Jean Laplanche for having, both, elevated the trauma to the condition of axis around which articulates their clinical andmetapsychologicalpropositions. The objective of this research was to return to the Freudian work in order to find the elements that served as a basis for the development of the works of the two theorists mentioned above. For this, the investigation advanced chronologically from the first etiological propositions of hysteria, which date from the end of the 19th century, until the modifications proposed by the author in his last articles on the technique in the late 1930s. We went through these decades having as a guide what the author describes as the sexual aspect of trauma and the place that the other (aspects of external reality) occupy in the outbreak of a traumatic situation and its development. Through the research, it was possible to follow the changes in the conception of trauma that influenced later psychoanalytic productions, especially regarding the dialectical movement that Freud proposes between external and internal world, and the central presence of sexual trauma in all Freudian conceptualization |
