This study has as its premise the knowledge that we face, today, in the theme of human dignity, a lot of challenges about the utility of the concept in the field of ethics and law. These difficulties have its origins, mostly, in the need of finding a conceptual core that make the concept able to fulfill all the functions that we attribute to it. When we offer a examination of the theme under the perspective of late Wittgenstein s therapeutical philosophy, we don t have in mind to reach the core of the concept or to find a solution to the innumerous problems, but to reveal that these difficulties stems in a misunderstanding about our language, that we can overcome trough a survey. So, the core of this essay comprises the analysis of the therapeutical philosophy and its possible interactions with the human dignity with two intentions: reveal that the ontological or metaphysical model is not the only one and that exists alternatives; clarify that these alternatives are not easily reached, for there is difficulties, some of them in law, which we must illuminate before we reach them. At the end, we believe that this final intention was reached
