Resumo: The purpose of this thesis is to address the following problem: to analyze the education of Brazilian legal education and its implications due to artificial intelligence, its challenges, and opportunities for academic transformation, as well as to answer the following question: "Will information and communication technology favor learning or compromise the quality of legal education?" Based on the formulated thesis problem, the hypothesis is raised – confirmed – that it is assumed that the Law course is widely sought after in Brazil, with a significant presence of private institutions in the educational market. Additionally, there is a marked trend towards hybrid education, and the most representative age group of students is between 25 and 34 years old. To achieve the proposed objective, it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the historical and socio-economic factors that have influenced the development of the Higher Education Sector in Brazil. Furthermore, a detailed market analysis will be conducted to understand the current landscape of the sector. The focus of the research is to investigate and evaluate the role played by technology in the formation of Legal Education. The implications and impacts of technology on the curriculum, teaching methodologies, and the required professional profile of Law students will be examined. The study aims to identify both the challenges and opportunities provided by technology, with the intention of providing valuable insights to enhance legal academic training in the Brazilian context. As a theoretical framework, elements that influenced the propagation of Higher Education in Brazil are established, including: (i) the National Education Guidelines and Bases Law; (ii) Internet access; (iii) socio-economic scenario (social programs such as ProUni and FIES) and the new guidelines for legal education, their advancements, and challenges. Regarding the achieved result, challenges, and opportunities in the era of artificial intelligence in legal education and its application are identified. In terms of the methodological approach, the use of the historical perspective, deductive, hypotheticaldeductive, and dialectical methods are emphasized. The procedural field involved bibliographic and doctrinal research, legislative and documentary analysis, as well as field research. The qualitative technique will be used as the approach
