This thesis addresses the theological formation offered by the Course of Bachelor of Theology, Methodist University of São Paulo, UMESP, from the look of the graduating class 2009-2012, highlighting the ways, the challenges and curricular perspectives that permeate this formation. The aim of this study consists in identifying the perception of these subjects, who underwent the presential mode of the Course, regarding the theological formation provided by the university. The theoretical support is based on authors who deal with education, theological education and related topics. A historical walk of Protestant theology in Brazil is done, which culminates with the recognition of Theology Course by the Ministry of Education and Culture - MEC. This is a qualitative study, which adopted as procedures the SPSS program and the questionnaire administered to students. The document analysis regarded the feedback from the questionnaires, indicating opinion about the formation received at this institution. The relevance of this research relates to the possibility of promoting theological formation from a curriculum that has as guideline the education for humanization |
