This work aims to investigate the theology and philosophy of Maimonides related to the Divinity, presented in the Guide for the Perplexed, specifically in Part I and Part II of the book. In particular, it seeks to examine how Maimonides sought to reconcile his religious tradition with the philosophy of rationalist stamp, strongly inspired by Aristotle. After studying Maimonides' God and the ways in which the author tried to harmonize faith and reason, the work will focus on the issue of proofs of divine existence, incorporeality and oneness, in which we will address the criticisms that Maimonides weaves against Muslim theologians (Kalamites), we will discuss the concept of demonstration adopted by Maimonides and also explore the twenty-six propositions of the Peripatetics and the four arguments developed in the Guide to the Perplexed
