The history of credit has its evolution linked to the economic development and the access of people to the assets that are necessary to them, contributing to better living conditions, likewise contributing to better conditions of the companies, which comes with the main business of a bank, that is, to lend and receive, to lend again, in a continuous cycle. To do this, the credit analysis will include the collection, treatment and critical and integrated analysis of available data and information, identifying trends, strengths and weaknesses, as well as opportunities and threats to which companies may be exposed. In this way, a credit analysis is based on the experience of credit analysts and theoretical knowledge, coupled with methodologies for risk assessment, based on statistical models. First, however, considering that crises are recurrent, and according to several researchers, credit supply increases when the economy grows and decreases during its deceleration, through a descriptive study, the goal is to present a model of credit risk measurement, directed to portfolios composed of loans granted by financial institutions to companies, aiming to segment it into solvents and insolvent |
