Resumo: |
Therapeutic accompaniment is a practice in the field of mental health that stems from the context of the Psychiatric Reform and the clinical and theoretical renewal in the field of psychosis. Although it has currently been expanded to different contexts, its relevance in the clinic of psychosis remains, given the still current need to deconstruct asylum practices and discourses. Thus, the present work proposed a reflection on the clinic of therapeutic accompaniment based on a case study of psychosis through the lens of Jungian theory. It was endorsed the need to sustain a practice that supports the possibility of a more dignified and integral insertion of marginalized subjects, withstanding the systematic exclusion that certain groups suffer. The experience of therapeutic accompaniment of a case of a young man diagnosed with schizophrenia, aged twenty-two, was permeated by the therapist's reflection on transference and countertransference intertwined with the analysis of emerging symbols, such as the confinement and night howling by the patient, the role of music in the development of the work, the space-time experience of the pair and the influence of family dynamics in the interruption of the case. The analysis was carried out through the amplification of the myth of Romulus and Remus, in which the wolf symbol emerged as an image with multiple meanings, as it referred to the psychotic experience of a psychic breakdown and the family dynamics marked by aggressiveness. Music, on the other hand, presented itself as a way of elaboration and subjectivation, an emotional handling that allowed the man to reconnect with his history and to glimpse new futures. Finally, the spatiotemporal experience was apprehended from the association with the mythical image of Remoria and revealed the creative-destructive duality present in the psychotic experience.
