The main objective of this study is to analyze the development of the agrarian question in Brazil. In the first chapter, we explore the history of landing concentration and the debates regarding the agrarian question that took place in the 20th century, and in the second chapter we analyze the Green Revolution, the rise of agribusiness and its impacts. The third chapter is dedicated to the analysis of Matopiba, the new agricultural frontier, located in the Cerrado. In this chapter, we explore the characteristics of the territory, the land grabbing by the agribusiness and the environmental and social consequences
