The recent increase in economical development and internet access has changed social and working relations. This may have culminated in a midialogical slippage not only concerning blog functions, but also in the way blogs are produced. This growth process of the language s function could be related, among other reasons, to changes on the whole work environment and employability issues. Based on a perspective that combines Discourse Analysis founded on Dominique Maingueneau s theoretical assumptions and Primo s studies about professional blogs and Ergolog, this is a philosophical approach that proposes an innovative knowledge production s method about human activity, especially about work issues based on Schwartz s assumptions. Therefore, one reaches for discourse genre, hipergenre and ethos theories; and the other reaches for activity, norms, renormalization and dramatics ergological notions. After analyzing texts published on two different professional blogs, as well as interviews with the bloggers, it was possible to determine professional blog s peculiar features, concerting its discourse genres, since technical and generic coercions implicated by the genre professional blog transgress classical discourse genre theory. On ergological point of view it was possible to deduce some possible motivations that could have stimulated the bloggers to incorporate blogging among their work activities.
