Resumo: |
To contribute with the Academic reflections on internet, this research aims to analyze, within Social Psychology, this technology as a communication and social relation instrument. Two news about suicide were chosen because of its intense emotional impact as seen on comment replies at the internet. The comments, public posted on internet, were collected between the months of March and April of 2011, on the social network Twitter.com and the journalism website Folha.com. The comments were selected under the guidance of Espinosa s concept of affect and the vigotskian theory. The object of analysis was limited to the expression of the emotions and the suffering sense of the other person. In the first news about an actress who committed suicide, the senses at the comments were about moralistic explanations about her "evil" behavior, and suicide as free will act as seen in the common sense, as well as prevention ideas about suicide that did not focus on her suffering. In the second news about a young man who killed 12 kids and after that committed suicide, his suicide was ignored among the comments collected and the senses about suffering were directed to the kids and their families or about explanations of the his crimes related to religion explanations with prejudice senses. In both cases there were criticism to journalism and media. Other results of the investigation pointed at the communication on the internet being similar to the self language, spoken-written and complex, where the expression of the emotions conveys an idea of movement on the communication |
