Resumo: This study was mobilized through the demand of symptoms related to aggressiveness in children treated in a private clinic, including complaints of either explicit or repressed aggressiveness. This is a theoretical-empirical research, supported by the winnicottian framework, in which the failures of the individual's maturation process are the guiding element of diagnostic and clinical management. It contextualizes aggressiveness in Winnicott's perspective and carries out a theoretical journey on this concept in light of the author's work, aiming to elucidate how the aggressive potential develops during the maturation stages, until it becomes an integrated aggressiveness to the self, which only then it can be intentionally used. Through clinical material, presented in the form of four stories, it discourses some symptoms, raising the important discussion about the search for possible paths of conducting psychoanalytic treatment with children who have difficulties dealing with their aggressive potential. It also includes reflections on interpretation and individual clinical management in the setting and also clinical management with children’s parents and school
