Resumo: This work describes the procedures of the utilization of self-induced conscience alteration, through the observation of the contexts, respectively, of umbanda rituals as well as daime rituals consummated by the segmentation of CEFLURIS, this kind of alteration being perceived as a symptom of the human trend towards disorder, as a resource upon which the continuous experimentation of an ordainment of the real experience as offered by religion. This procedure is characterized as an initiative of use and employment of a disorderly factor, as a means to experience order. This initiative, on the other hand, is characterized as being peculiar to the human experience. In order to achieve this, observations have been made at three Umbanda sites and at two Daime Churches, pertaining to the segmentation mentioned earlier. At one of these sites and in one of the churches, interviews were also performed amongst visitors as well as with the person responsible for their operation
