The aim of this dissertation is to perform a psychoanalytic reading about Frida Kahlo´s life and her work as well. Frida Kahlo was chosen as an object of studying because, meanly, she presents, for Psychoanalyses, female hysteria symptoms. In order to make this piece of work understood we used Freudian theory and writers that contributed to Freud´s thoughts and to the female psyche constitution and also to the disarrangements that cause the neurosis hysteric. After that I did psychoanalytic interpretations about life and work of the author on target
