Resumo: |
This study aims to describe and analyze the types of relationships that can be established between media culture and visual imagery student in light of the logos included on the cover of the school notebook. The elements of visual media culture to which we refer in this research are the field of advertising. We will address announcements and clippings logos featured in the world of culture and fashion streetwear, surfwear and skateboard found in the corpus obtained through the collection and photo of a significant number of covers of notebooks of students in elementary and secondary public school teaching of Maua, Sao Paulo, aged between 11 and 18, conducted between 2007 and 2009. The research will be conducted from sociological approaches, aesthetic and semiotic. We rely on Michel Maffesoli to understanding this covers notebooks as an indicator of agregaré (tribalism) before the new postmodern sociality and the contributions from Andrea Semprini and Clotilde Perez concerning the culture of brands such as communication and connotations of identity. The semiotics and discourse analysis model developed around A. J. Greimas, as well as semiotics plastic with contributions from Jean-Marie Floch and Ana Claudia de Oliveira served as the basis of theoretical and testing procedures of visual discourse which seeks to examine how the images make sense. We hypothesized that the imagination of students is somehow readable on the covers of books they choose, in which subjects have built by advertising and a visual culture that is marketing. With this research intends to show a particular way of interference of culture media on the imaginary student, since their images are posted in a prominent position front, the basic school material |
