Resumo: |
The objective of this dissertation is to analyze the main changes in the world of work aiming at understanding the professional characteristics and the skills of the so-called Generation Y. The premises of contemporary work were investigated, as well as the transformations and challenges underway in the organizations on the workforce of the new generations. The research was carried out with students from the Business and Innovation Management course and Marketing students from Fatec SEBRAE, attending the last academic semester. They are students who already exercise professional activities in private companies. The methodology used to carry out this work was an exploratory research with a qualitative approach, with the objective of analyzing the discourse of the subjects involved through a semi-structured interview, through which it was observed that Generation Y professionals do not more to standardized work models, autocratic managers and plastered processes. They are dynamic, proactive and restless professionals with regard to the search for challenges and new work models that bring them personal and professional satisfaction, as well as satisfactory financial gains. These new professionals value good communication between employees and management, constant learning and exchanges established with a team spirit. The factors capable of promoting the motivation of these professionals are: working conditions that allow them to put their creative capacity into practice; to be able to exercise their creative independence and the search for self-realization through the recognition of their work |
