Avaliação da satisfação das empresas empregadoras e dos egressos com as competências desenvolvidas no curso de administração da instituição educacional superior: um estudo de caso

Resumo: The opening of the markets, the strong competition and the necessity of continuous learning, redefined the roles of the higher learning institutions that needed to redirect their competitive strategies to better supply the demand of their markets. It´s in this environment of change and uncertainty that it is inserted the idea of competence, as it is presented, according to studies in the area, as instrument of management adding value to individuals and organizations. In this sense, the present study evaluates the satisfaction of the hiring companies and of the graduates with the competencies developed in the Business school, through a case study in a private higher learning institution. The research, of qualitative nature, used in depth interviews to collect the data from the hiring companies and focus group with the graduates from said school. The analysis and interpretation of the results showed as a point of convergence with the researched group, the competencies, the Critical Analysis of the information and Planning and Management of Projects, as the competence of bigger satisfaction, and pointed the Team Development as the competence with the smallest satisfaction. The disagreeament occurred between the interviewed publics pointed the competence of Interpersonal and Intergroupal Communication as the competence with the smallest satisfaction to the hiring companies and as the competence with biggest satisfaction to the graduates that participated in the focus group.
