Qualidade do ensino superior no curso de administração: a avaliação dos egressos

Resumo: The quality of the higher education has constantly been questioned in Brazil and it has been regulated by State. The higher level courses grow in significant numbers, especially the administration course: it is the first course in number of admission and in number of graduate. The present study developed CEES, in PUCRS, has as objective is to analyze as the students who concluded the course evaluate the quality of their degree course in relation to their qualification in the profession of administrator. The thesis defended in the study is: The qualification of the students of administration for the employment is resulting from of the quality of higher education and the involvement of the student in his formation. For that, it used data from the graduate of INEP/MEC, elaborating quality indicators for the evaluation of the administration courses starting from the satisfaction, the consistency and the employment in the job market. The theoretical reference is sustained in international and national authors (CABRERA, HOLLAND, MOROSINI, TEZANOS) and it approaches the satisfaction and quality in the perspective of the higher education system. The report presents the records of the higher education in Brazil, its development, the recognition of the profession of administrator, the quality of teaching in the administration course, the models of evaluation of MEC, SINAES and, specifically, ENADE 2006 of the administration course. It also refers the job market, its evolution, social impact of the graduate and employment.The methodology used in the development of the paper was initially quantitative, with an analysis of the data of ENADE 2006 of administration, later it was elaborated and a survey was applied. This questionnaire was applied to the graduate of administration from a private university, being executed a qualitative part of the research later with the technique of focal group, with 7 graduate students. The analysis of the data it confirms the hypotheses presented in this paper. The conclusion is that the quality of the higher education has many involved factors, not only the theoretical ones, but others that are developed in different moments of the formation of the graduate.
