Resumo: | The present research, which has a qualitative-quantitative format, was characterized as case study and was accomplished in the Laboratory of Learning in a municipal public school of Porto Alegre, located in outlying neighborhood that assist, in its great majority, children originating from lower social classes. The investigation objectified the identification of the dyscalculia relating it with the solemnity-image level and self-esteem, the description of the accompaniment of psychopedagogical attendances, verifying the modifications after the use of the playfulness as intervention strategy, facilitating the ransom of the solemnity-image and of these students’ self-esteem. The five children selected in the age group between 7 and 10, tend as criterion the fact that they don’t have mental deficiency and they are in attendance in the Laboratory of Learning of the school in the year of 2006. The used instruments were: Test Infantile Neuropsychological, adapted of Mango and Ramos (1981), to identify possible deficiencies in the construction of the number and arithmetic operations, characterizing a dyscalculia, Questionnaire of Solemnity-image and of Self-esteem, adapted of Stobäus (1983), that it sought to measure its level, with statistical analysis of its results (averages, correlations and index of consistence alpha of Cronbach). Beside of these instruments it was used interviews semi-structured, descriptive observations and field diary that were worked with Analysis of Content of Bardin (2004). The results appear, mainly, that the work with the playfulness influences positively in the self-esteem levels and solemnity-image. All the subjects presented a significant elevation in the self-esteem levels and solemnity-image that it varied among 10% to 63%. In relation to the dyscalculia, the increase of the percentile of successes of the subjects was among 8% to 42%.Starting from the discoveries of this research, the use of the playfulness is recommended in the psychopedagogical interventions as powerfull of the children's capacities with specific educational needs, seeking an inclusive educational attendance to those students, impeding the repetition, the failure, the escape and, consequently, the social exclusion. |
