Resumo: | This dissertation reports the research conducted with a group of studies (GE) of teachers of elementary school of a city in the Rio Grande do Sul State. The work is based in action research conducted with the GE, approaching mainly the educating by research in the classroom of Mathematics. The study started with a questionnaire in which teachers reported experiences of the classroom, showing the predominance of traditional teaching. In the first meetings, it was proposed, then, a theoretical study on the research in the classroom, with goal of promoting confrontation between the knowledge of participants. After this study, a survey was conducted in the classroom with students from each of the teachers on the theme "water", based in the question: "How much water I consume per day?". It was put in action by the subjects of the research, and the students the questioning, the construction of argument, and the communication. The results show that the teachers understood the research as an effective practice for the development of autonomy and critical reflection. The GE allowed to review concepts of the teachers, leading to advances in their own teacher professionalization. The teachers came to value the student as critical and being able to promote actions to achieve their full development and the students began to participate actively in the process of teaching and learning. The teacher as mediator of this learning process, comprehends his own practice, which helps to describe future actions. The training continued through the GE, confirmed to be an important instance to share studies, discussions and reflections, allowing to the teacher develop personally and professionally. |
