Resumo: |
The work intends to bring a reflection and an in-depth research on the communication that occurred between social actors by Twitter during three protest movements in Brazilian society: June 2013, March 2015 and March 2016. We start from the observation of the demonstrations against the increase of the transport public, in 2013, and we arrived at 2016, with the intensification of the debates around the impeachment of Dilma Rousseff, former president of Brazil, of the Workers' Party. The methodology used was the content analysis of 900 posts of Twitter, a qualitative and quantitative analysis, with categorization of the posts, glimpsing to unravel how the debates were established: use of humor, irony, form of convocation for the streets, replication of messages etc. The bibliographical review is based on the concept of public sphere, network society and social movements theory, with centrality in the communication, according to Castells (2015). The study shows, in general, that there is polarization and extremism in the debates, making rational dialogue difficult. |
