Resumo: |
This study analyzes the public manifestations for and against the impeachment of Dilma Rousseff from organized and articulated groups in the social network Facebook. The objective was to observe the influence and the relationship of digital technologies as a facilitating tool to promote social mobilization and engagement, and to bring about change in the historical and political context of Brazilian society. Theories about cyberculture, community, social movements and popular participation were the basis for reflecting on the relevance of the internet in this process. We did content and exploratory analyzes of fanpage publications focusing on the strategies of communication and interaction of groups with followers, and from reports to verify the adherence of these strategies in the press. We note that these groups had relevant participation, especially in the agility and expansion of the information of the process of social transformation, like other wings of the public sphere; and impeachment was a gradual process that was influenced by several actors and factors in the social and institutional context. |
