The study goals was to delimit the composite discursive ethos with a particular modality of journalistic practice. The moment of analyze was the journalistic cover in São Paulo during the public protests in 2013. The objective was to analyse the journalism speech produced, searching understand the dynamic adopted by the journalistic company and the possible ideological consequences released by them at their news space. All this contribute to understand in which moment the company's discursive tone appears at the news production. For this, was made a theoretical discussion about the concept of ethos relations with journalism and the field of communication science. The research is compound by the bibliographic research, after that a discursive analysis of editorials and first pages about the events in 2013 june in the newspapers: Folha de S.Paulo and Valor Econômico.
