Resumo: This dissertation guides the rescue of Creole seeds as a social technology as a basis for intellectual and sustainable development in the context of family farming. It is through these varieties that the identity, autonomy and empirical knowledge of communities in northeastern Pará are disseminated and maintained between generations, which therefore also contribute to the maintenance of agrobiodiversity. This work had as main objective to elaborate an illustrated catalog of the creole seeds collected and identified in the project, as well as to make it accessible to farmers who work with creole seeds in the Northeast region of Pará. A quantitative methodology of a descriptive character was adopted, the dialogue between the technical and empirical knowledge and field visits. It can be seen that there was a dialogue of knowledge and the consequent visibility that both farmers needed. The importance of valuing the seeds of local varieties is emphasized, since they represent not only family farming, but a new way of enabling the acquisition of information in the school environment.
