The relevance of technology transfer, nowadays, is due to a worldwide evolution process, which comes from globalization, which triggers the increase of competitiveness and enables the conversion of efforts to create a system that promotes the difference between the institutions, thus evidencing innovation and, consequently, stimulating the transfer of technology, arising from the results of the research work, with the objective of making the set of knowledge, skills, products, processes developed by the research institutions. Technology transfer plays a fundamental role in the global economic context, as it enables organizations to evolve through innovation in an increasingly dynamic and entrepreneurial market. However, it presents itself as one of the bottlenecks of research institutions. In light of this reality, the objective of this work was to prepare video-classes, in which the transfer of technologies was discussed, presented its role, highlighted its importance in Brazilian research institutions on the world stage, considering the difficulties encountered and proposing actions to improve and solidify it, within this panorama the video classes were segmented as follows: presentation of the general context of work, innovation, technology transfer, types of technology transfer, social technology and the role of transferring technologies generated in Brazilian research institutions. For this purpose, exploratory research was used as a methodology for a bibliographical survey, and articles and books on the subject were qualitatively analyzed, contextualizing the current scenario with regard to the market, competitiveness and innovation. The final result was the elaboration of 06 video-classes to be made available to society, with the purpose of formalizing the transfer of technology.
