Resumo: |
Mindfulness-based interventions have been shown to be potentially effective in promoting the health and well-being of health professionals. Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the feasibility of a brief intervention program that mixes mindfulness practices and exercises based on positive psychology with health professionals. Method: Interventions were based on the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, adapting to a reduced intervention proposal, with weekly meetings held remotely, lasting ninety minutes, for 6 weeks. intervention using the following instruments: Semi-structured interview; Self-compassion scale; DAS-21 scale; Professional Quality of Life Scale PRQoL BR to assess the following mental health indicators: compassion fatigue, self-compassion, stress, anxiety and depression in health professionals. Result: The scores obtained after the intervention on the ProQOL-V Scale confirm the reduction in compassion fatigue, reaching statistical significance in the paired t test (p=0.0469). The reduction of stress, anxiety and depression is not statistically relevant due to the sample size. Conclusion: It is feasible to comply with a reduced program to reduce compassion fatigue. The remote participation of Members is feasible and promising so that the program can be reapplied in other professional environments. |
