In recent decades, the world has gone through the transition from a manufacturing to an information economy. The new capitalist system needs to innovate to differentiate its products and perpetuate companies. For that, the creative ingredient is needed. Under the business perspective, the current dynamics of the economy and the speed of technological advancement demand creative ideas that can be transformed into innovations, and the way to materialize this transformation is entrepreneurship. Creativity allows the entrepreneur to idealize and act on opportunities in ways that can result in a competitive advantage for the organization. In Brazil, government and organizational attention to the Creative Economy emerged from the 2000s onwards, following an international trend.
