In order to understand how young people in the first semester of Journalism and Information Systems courses at a private college in the city of São Paulo interpret a journalistic news, this dissertation brings a review of the different theories that unite communication, education and media in the lives of citizens, specifying in Media Education and Cultural Studies. To achieve the proposal, a hybrid methodology is presented on the fields of Media Education, Framing and Content Analysis that make it possible to point out, by reading a proposed report and a questionnaire answered by the students, the different readings of the young participants in the research. This identifies the similarities and differences in the interpretation of the students and a description of how they understand the news |
