Resumo: The dissertation analyses the framing of the media coverage on the Marielle Franco case on the websites of "Folha de S. Paulo", "O Antagonista" and "Pragmatismo Político" under the perspective of the intersectional theory. The main objective of the research encompassed the description and analysis of the different ways the case was framed in the three aforementioned media outlets, verifying the presence or the absence of social and intersectional markers on the news coverage. Theoretically, the first chapter considered the relationship between digital journalism and the main political events; and the affective polarization on the 2018 elections, what helps the understanding of the context in which the murder happened. The second chapter leaned specifically over the concepts of media framing and intersectional theory, considering the first theoretical contributions and the evolution of the researches in these fields. In the methodological aspect, the research is a case stud based on two theoretical frameworks: media framing (ENTMAN, 1993, WOSNIAK et al, 2015, RIZOTTO et al, 2017) and intersectionality CRENSHAW (1989, 1991). The final sample of the research was made of 360 news articles, being 175 from "Folha de S. Paulo", 132 from "O Antagonista" and 53 from "Pragmatismo Político", that were analyzed in two steps: narrative resources and media framing according to Entman (1993). The analysis of the narrative resources reviewed a low degree of narrativity with a low frequency of dramatization, emotion, personalization and stylistic ornamentation. The only excepcion is seen on the texts from "O Antagonista" which has a high degree of personalization. In contrast, the narrative roles frequently used in texts from the three media outlets focus on Marielle's image as a victim of a political crime. In regards to the analysis of the media framing, it can be noticed the absence of investigative pieces on the three media outlets because the articles were limited to the discourse from the police and political sources, generating media frames that advocate the hypothesis of political assassination related to the position that Marielle occupied and the agenda that she advocated for. The research also identified that the distinct editorial profiles contributed to the differences in the frames developed. In general, it was seen that the social markers are sparsely present in the articles being relegated to the agents connected to the social movements on the left or family members of Marielle's family. At last, it was concluded that the framing of Marielle's case in the three media outlets reviewed an absence of the intersectional discussion on most of the articles.
