The general objective of the research is to describe the relationship between authentic leadership and constructs, potency and creativity, as well as its relationship with team performance in the context of a Brazilian financial institution. The theoretical justification for research is due to the relevance of the study of leadership and being considered unique, with the presentation of the relationship between the four constructs: Authentic Leadership, Potency, Creativity and Team Performance. The practical justification for research is the possibility of applying the knowledge obtained in the creation of new management policies and the formation of a positive organizational vision, making the people involved more effective and the teams more determined and committed to the organization, generating an ethical climate and promoting Best performances. The methodology was conducted under a quantitative approach, applying a survey to obtain the primary data. The application of the questionnaires was performed electronically, in the form of a census, with subsequent selection of a sample consisting of 41 teams. In the study, 5 hypotheses were tested: H1 - LA is related to team performance; H2 - LA impacts the potency of teams; H3 - Potency promotes team creativity; H4 - Creativity influences team performance; H5 - LA promotes performance through the moderating role of team potency and creativity. Statistical tests found correlations: moderate between LA and Team Potency and moderate between LA and Creativity. However, the correlation between LA and Team Performance was not representative. The study presents the importance of leadership in team capacity building and how leaders can influence organizational outcomes. |
